1. The Time-Traveler from the Future
Kang is originally a technological genius & scientist from the 30th century. He traveled back in time to conquer all timelines. This explains his appearance in so many comic series, facing off against heroes of the old and new.
2. Young Kang is the ‘Iron Lad’
Kang’s defeat at the Avengers’ hands leads him to travel back in time and manipulate his younger version to kill them in the past. Young-Kang becomes ashamed of his future self. He steals parts of future Kang’s armor and journeys back in time. He convinces Vision to form Young Avengers and joins them as ‘Iron Lad.
3. Scarlet Centurion’s Avengers
Kang had designed a Spiderman robot in the comics to fight other heroes. The original Spiderman destroyed it. He also picked the past versions of the original five Avengers to fight their future selves under him.
4. Kang Prime and Immortus
Multiple time-travels led to duplication of Kang’s self and consciousness many times over. Kang killed all of his duplicates across timelines and became Kang Prime. His army wiped out the Cross-Time Kang Corps. Kang Prime absorbed all the memories of every Kang and was almost driven to insanity. Finally, he gave up his life as Kang to become Immortus of the Temporal Limbo Dimension, the Timelines’ Protector.
Kang the Conqueror has been a feared villain right from his first appearance. He killed and conquered to remove ‘boredom’ and stroke his ego. His appearance in the MCU is sure to give future films a fresh perspective and a new fight.
5.Created The Time-Warriors Known As The Anachronauts
Kang doesn't always rely on the armies that he's amassed over the years from his various conquerings or the time-displaced heroes and villains he occasionally gathers when needed to fight his battles— he once assembled a team of warriors known as the Anachronauts.
These powerful warriors— Deathhunt
9000, Apocryphus, Raa, Sir Raston, S sith, Tyndar, and Wildrun— were all undefeated until they encountered Kang, so he formed them together as the Anachronauts to protect his homeworld of Chronopolis from any and all invaders or challengers to his throne.
6.Will Eventually Become The Master Of Time Known As Immortus
Deep into Kang's future, he becomes the time lord known as Immortus. Tired of fighting and losing his loved ones in multiple timelines, Kang decided to give up his life as Kang in order to serve the Time-Keepers from the temporal Limbo dimension.
7.Raised The Apocalypse Twins & Tried To Eradicate Mutants (X-MEN)
APOCALYPSE TWINS Uriel and Emin were the Apocalypse Twins, whose birth and eventual rise to power as leaders of the mutant race would have threatened Kang's eventual rule in the future. So he took preventative measures and kidnaped the twins as babies so that he could raise them using his own brutal methods.
When The Apocalypse Twins were teenagers, they escaped from their adoptive father and actively worked against him to bring about their own rule.
8. Uses Characters From Across Time To Fight His Battles As The Chronos Corps
Kang has borrowed Rick Jones' "Destiny War" maneuver a few times over the years as he has pulled Marvel heroes and villains from different points in time to fight for him in important battles, like when he entered into an unwinnable battle with Ultron in the Next Avengers future that ultimately broke time. The Avengers had to go back and convince Ultron to lose and save the timeline.
