Zatch-Bell and KioTakmine
Zatch is the 1st mamodo we have seen in the series. Zatch is sent by his father Mr. Seitaro Takamine to help his son to make friends in their school because Kio is the smartest, intelligent, and top scorer of the school, so this is why anyone doesn't like Kio in their school. When Kio 1st time read the spellbook and cast the 1st spell there is an electric attack that comes from Zatch's mouth. Kio asked Zatch but he doesn't remember anything until when Zatch's 1st mamodo battle started and this made Kio a hero in his school. Zatch doesn't know anything about his past and the entire mamodo world because his memories completely vanished. After that Zatch's met good and kind mamodos like him but they don't want to fight but they all have to fight forcibly without their will but due to the brother-liked relationship between Kio and Zatch. Kio encourages Zatch after that Zatch's decide to become kind king, so they can stop mamodo battles and in this journey, Tia and Megumi, Ponygon, and Kafk Sunbean made an alliance with Zatch And Kio.
Tia and Megumi
Tia somewhat vain and tomboyish girl who is not afraid to fight the strongest enemies, but she is also a sweet who likes to spend time with her friends. She is the old friend of Zatch from the mamodo world when Zatch doesn't recognize her she becomes angry and later after knowing the incident which is happened she felt bad for him, Megumi is a pop star, she aspired to become a singer because of a long time dream to make people happy with their songs. Megumi finds Tia drowning in the ocean when Tia's old friend from the mamodo world betrayed her she feels unsafe but Megumi gives the comfort to trusting her she starts happy again. After meeting Zatch and Kiyo they both see them as a friend and Megumi feels something about Kiyo which was noticed by Tia.
Ponygon and kafk Sunbean
Ponygon was named by Kiyo but his real name is Schneider he looks like a horse sounds like a ship and acts like a dog most of the time. In the starting, he has not a book owner so he lives with Zatch and Kiyo in their house. Ponygon has faced a difficult time making friends in mamodo world when Ponygon first time met Kiyo he bites him on their hand because Kiyo untied the rope in which he gets carried their book the reason behind Ponygon anger is that the rope was tied up by his mother. Kafk has a philosophy to be a cool adult and doing things like abandoning ponygon or his friends to against principles, he quickly earning trust him the trust and friendship of the others.
Brago and Sherry Belmont
Brago is very quiet and he is rarely socializing with other mamodos, he is often described as strong and cool. He is often crossing his arms or sticking them in pockets. He has a dream of becoming a strong and powerful king also he has a sense of justice, which means any villain appears in mamodo world so he deals with him his own power. Sherry is a young french woman and she was the 1st one who told Kio about the mamodo battle and kingship. Sherry met Brago when her friend Koko has become the owner of the Zofis book and that Zofis manipulate Koko's mindset. So in order to find her friend Koko to return back to normal when she was at one time so this is why she become the Brago's book owner. Well, Brago and Sherry also care for each other.
Zofis and Koko
About Zofis many things are not revealed but he is an evil heartless, intelligent,powerful, and also a dangerous mamodo child who wanted to become at any cost. He wanted to become stronger than Brago even he has to cheat them, he also revived the ancient mamodo's from stone tablets which have great powers. Koko's mind was manipulated through their emotions by Zofis. Koko was always discriminated against by other people for being poor. Sherry is the only best friend of Koko because Koko is the one who saved the life of sherry and gave her the reason to live when they were children.
Kanchome and Parco Folgore
Kanchome often feels weak when fighting alongside his demons friends, especially during the ancient mamodo arc. He also was made fooled much time. His weakness is candy despite having a full of pocket, he knew about Zeno than anyone before. Parco is a superstar and film hero from Milan(Italy) he normally spends his time touring the world. He and Kanchome only come to Japan for defeating Zatch and Kiyo but they both lose easily which is the funniest battle but Zatch and Kiyo leave them. And after that, they also tried to help good mamodo's himself but did not succeed.
Kido and Dr. Riddles
Kido is partly a robotic mamodo child which is shown in his various spells which involve weapons and changing the size of his body part which involves weapons and changing the size of his body part. His spell power also happens to machinery and artillery. Dr. Riddles is also known as Dr. Nazonazo. He is a tall old American man with a prominent mustache floating question mark above it, a monocle, and fancy black clothing. Kido and Dr. Riddles's relationship resembles that of a father and son as the duo is very close. He first met Kido when Kido visited his library of a house. Dr. riddles read many books because of a failed surgery on his grandson, so he quit his job on the shame.
Zeno Bell and Dufort
Zeno Bell is the older brother twin brother of Zatch Bell and they are both the son of Mamodo King Dauwan Bell. His spells are the same as Zatch's only more powerful and Zeno does not lose consciousness during the spells. His cloak also has a magical ability allowing him to protect himself and the bookkeeper. Dufort is Zeno's bookkeeper his story was a total mystery until he told his story to Zatch and Kiyo near the end of the Faudo Arc. Well he was born with powerful psychic abilities. For this reason, he was confirmed to an asylum, experimented on, and possibly abused throughout nearly his entire life, he vowed to destroy humanity for what they did to him in the past. The hatred is what took Zeno's attention and release Dufort from the asylum.
